A/C and heating worked in new room but no radiators or heating situated in the bathroom which seemed strange in this day and age. Also shower showing signs of needing a refurb quite mouldy in places. "The hotel is on a side street off a large shopping street, but toward the end of that strip of stores. A couple blocks away things become more lively. We were glad for the quiet. The room was absolutely lovely with a spa-like bathroom, comfortable furniture, plentiful linens, tea and coffee makers. The food down at the bar was pricey and a little inconsistent, but generally good to terrific. We never had anything bad there. My one comment would be about the charming old staircase up to the...

"My husband and Inrecently had the pleasure of staying at Celtic Manor, and we can't say enough good things about our experience! The facilities were absolutely amazing, providing everything you could possibly need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The staff went above and beyond, always friendly and attentive, making sure every detail was taken care of. The golf facilities were great too! The courses were beautifully maintained, offering a fantastic challenge for players of all levels....

"We had a really lovely large room which was much appreciated. Great location for shops, restaurants. some initial problems with parking which was quickly resolved. This was our second stay at the Novotel. Would stay again "
