"There were only two public restrooms, one in lobby and one in a restaurant. None with easy access from beach area and pools. "

"Everything was easy to find. The evening activities were entertaining. The golf carts were lifesavers due to the amount of hills! The only complaint noted was that a drink ordered at the main lobby bar is not the same as the bars at the pool."

"The property is well kept, clean, and comfortable. The staff was excellent. The waterfals and hot springs were very enjoyable. My only complaint is that the mattresses are very hard, otherwise, we had a very nice stay and would highly suggest it. "

"If you would like a relaxing vacation by the beach, this is the place to stay beautiful location, beautiful rooms. The service was outstanding. They have a number of restaurants to choose from last night. We had a barbecue on the beach, which was excellent. You can get a golf cart to go to a restaurant that’s nearby so you don’t need to have a car for that. It’s about 45 minutes from the big city beach. I would definitely come again. "

"This was an absolutely marvelous hotel in a challenging spot to get to. Don't let that stop you. The rooms, the food, the drinks, the views - everything was outstanding. Just one small thing.. you better be fit to very fit. The entire place is in a hill and it's unique and special, but I did 60 days of HIIT and weights to prep for this trip so I would not be the "old woman" who couldn't get around. So glad I did! They do have golf carts, but we just found ourselves walking. Truly...

"The view from my room was beautiful! The room was perfect for a couple. I would give it a five stars rating if the bathroom didn’t smell like mold. I told the front desk; they said they would look into it; but nothing was done. In addition, the TV didn’t work on the third day that we were there. "Me and bestfriend stayed a 8 days. Needed more time so much to do and we did everything. Food fresh and amazing. People so nice and bilingual. My Spanish is limited LOL bano. Night life a vibe, volcano mud and falls so amazing. "

"Beautiful Place, on the mountain side of the pacific coast, the main staircase from reception down to the first large pool is incredible. Birds, Monkeys, Iguanas--everywhere. Nice people, friendly service, lots of food and drink options. Beach has wonderful shells at low tide and great swimming. Rent a car for your stay and travel on your own to some of the remote beaches to the North--the roads are rough--but the adventure is something you will remember for the rest of your days. Take two big drives--go to Monte Verde and see the cloud forest--don't forget to drink some coffee in Monte Verde's small town on the way out. Then go to Rincón de la Vieja National Park and see the volcano. Just incredible. VIDA PURA"
