"This hotel is the place you want to stay at. It is outside of Reykjavik by 12 min, by taxi 20 min by public bus. The hotel is wonderfully themed with a great restaurant next to it. The night manager, Karolina at the front desk is absolutely lovely person. "Extremely friendly staff and super helpful. I’m in awe with the service they provided. The room had just what we needed, nothing more, nothing less. Not a big room if that’s what you’re looking for. It was big enough for us. We didn’t go to Iceland to spend our vacation in a room so not a deal breaker. Breakfast was amazing, they brought the breads and pastries fresh from a bakery every morning. Everything was delightful. The location was walking distance to everywhere we needed to go to. "

"Gorgeous spa hotel that included a soaking tub in the room. The restaurant was a bit lackluster, with the exception of the desserts- which were truly incredible. The restaurant was apparently undergoing a management change when we were there, so it is understandable that the meal was a bit chaotic. Overall, a lovely hotel in a great location and we would definitely stay again. "
