"We stayed with a young toddler during a rainy season, in the middle of a tropical storm, and even though mosquitoes, heavy rain and the rest of the jungle life was a bit more aggressive than during dry season, we enjoyed our stay. "Our stay at PuraPura was a dream come true. The unit felt brand new and had everything we needed, including a kitchen and rain shower. Air conditioning worked very well and there were no bugs. "The house we stayed in has beautiful woodwork and was spacious but also a bit treacherous with a stairway with no handrail and a step up part way into the living area. The beach is lovely and it was not touristy when we there (during heavy rainfall). Howler monkeys entertained us frequently. The maid did a very good job.
