About a 20min walk to Shinjuku central. Overall stay was ok. Probably wouldn’t stay again because there are other hotels a little closer in the same price range. "

"Good hotel typical from the APA resorts, there is an onsen which makes it very relaxing after a day walking. There is also a breakfast option. The hotel is 5 min walk from Otsuka station. Please note that this is pretty much a residential neighbourhood, so there is little to see around. You will have to take te the Yamanote Line to get you to the main areas. However there a some good restaurants around."

The room temperature was comfortable as often times I encountered that Tokyo hotel rooms are kept too hot during winter and there’s no way to cool them. This was not the case at Rose Garden. It was pouring in Tokyo today and we had checked out not only did they store our bags so we could do a last minute visit in Tokyo they lent us umbrellas which was super helpful with 2 young kids.
