"Friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room and hotel. Breakfast wasn’t anything to write home about, but it was fine. The Hampton by Hilton in York has mini fridges in the rooms, which would be a welcome addition in Canterbury’s rooms, but otherwise it’s a lovely place to stay in a great location. As a bonus, I could see the cathedral from my window."

"The only thing that stopped this hotel experience being five star across the board was the hairdryer…it’s a pet hate of mine when hotels provide teeny tiny hairdryers that don’t really do much more than move your hair around a bit.
