"Close proximity to malls and basically everything you will need around town. Caters mostly to families with children due to the amusement park by the Resort. This causes loud noises from the kids especially during the afternoon hours. All in all a good place to stay. "

"The experience was okay, nothing to be excited about. The room is only clean every other day which was a downer, and the pool closes at 10pm, which we found a bit early as we came back from visiting the city around that time. The pool could also have used a bit of cleanup, there were some algae forming in some areas. Overall, we still had a good stay, but not a mesmerizing one."

"This is my 3rd time staying with this property and it always amazes me how the property is conveniently located...the MRT blue line is just across the street, Bras Basah line is a block away, one of the best Roti Prata in Singapore is just 2 blocks away and its in a quite road yet in the middle of everything. I highly recommend this property and looking forward to staying again and again."

"The reception staff are nice and friendly. The room is very clean as well as the hallway. I saw a cleaning staff was cleaning the hallway corner. Nice. The hotel is close to the metro station. I wish their bathroom could be a little bit bigger."

"Excellent hotel for the price and the hotel staff are friendly. The public transport is not perfect though, there is atleast 300m walk without shade to the bus stops, then take a bus to the train station. Overall it is a recommended accommodation."

"Convenient to the MRT, and local shopping and dining. The restaurant only offered breakfast and there were no ice machines. Staff were efficient and responsive; having resources available to encourage tourism would be helpful, ( like they are 2 blocks from Little India, where the MRT is etc)"

"Our stay at Owen House was fantastic. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with good knives so you can actually cook, which came handy to us. The location is prime, next to the MRT and many bus lines, and across from a Mall which was fantastic. Sandra and the staff in general are amazing and very welcoming. I can't recommend enough. For the price and what you get, it's fantastic for Singapore! "

"Check in progress is quick, but the bellboy wasn’t really help. I checked in 1am with 1 toddler that slept in my arm and view luggage but no one help. I lost my baby bag and try to call the receptionist but no one pick up, when I go down the bellboy hold the bag and don’t even care to call my room. "

"Well priced clean and no frills property , within walking distance of central Singapore and 2 minutes from Clarke quay . Basic but good value . We don’t use pool or gym so can’t comment but generally pleased . "
