"Really cool historical building which connects to the nearby area for food and night life bars. Location is awesome since it's connected to that area and only a short walk away to the hawker markets. Only downside was my room didn't have any hot water going to it, but I survived anyways (didn't want to bother changing rooms) - then when it rained an insane amount one day one of the windows had a leak which went into the floor, but I didn't let it bother me and just put a towel there. "

"Good but nowhere near great. Old towels (think 2-star motel), quirky design of that just doesn't really work, breakfast bit of a disaster with queues to get in and then again at the coffee machines. May have the three worst 5-star hotel bars, with the bar staff unable to make many of the classic cocktails (you want to give them a chance at first but then end up drinking somewhere else for the rest of your stay)."

"Everything was perfect until we discovered that the smallest room we had booked lacked a cabinet. There was no disclaimer informing us that the room didn’t have a place to store our belongings. Consequently, we struggled to find suitable spots to store our clothes for the entire week.
