"Very comfortable and compact room and perfect for a pre night stopover especially before a long flight from Birmingham airport ( BHX ) and literally just a two minute walk to international departures check in. Breakfast was filling and good quality and you can get a slight discount if purchased the night before."

"It was nice being upgraded on the to a better room. The receptionist was really nice and even played the piano for us. The rooms are large but the rooms facing the rail tracks don't have windows that open. Overall it's a great hostel and has a good modern look"

"Couple of minor issues; Room 207. Bathroom door needs sanding/planing as stuck against the frame making it difficult to open/close.,1 shower screen runner broken so screen didn’t shut fully. Picture on the TV dark. Not able to adjust as menu option on TV remote had been disabled. "

"Ideal location near to city centre and amenities. The staff are very friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble very pleased with my stay there."

"I was really surprised at how spacious the room was - there was lots of room to move and to spread out. Bed was comfy and the extra cushions were good. I liked the room in the bathroom and having a bath in a hotel room for the price i paid was a luxury. Desk staff were helpful, security on the door, housekeepers who were friendly. Only downside was the not having the plug socket by the bed but walking across the room not a hassle."

"This hotel is conveniently located for the tram stop giving a regular service to New Street rail station. Also it is in walking distance of the City Centre and all that this has to offer. I found the staff very helpful at check-in advising how to find the local bars and restaurants. "
