"We stayed 2 nights while attending a family wedding. The hotel is old but very clean. It could do with an update in some areas especially the showers in the rooms. That said we had a warm comfortable stay and would stay again. The breakfast was fine could have been hotter but plenty choice. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The staff were great and attended to any request promptly. Another plus is that there is plenty parking and a lift if you find stairs difficult. "

"My review would have been 5 star except for the heating in the bedroom. This is centrally controlled and we had to ask reception to turn it on. To be fair they did this immediately, but you can't adjust it in your room so it went from too cold to too hot!"

"If you want a place for quiet, have a light meal and a good nights sleep, then this is it. But if you want space to spread out or to do some work, not so good. It’s an ideal stop prior to an early morning flight."

"Clean and comfortable room Restaurant with very limited menu. Breakfast buffet daily was disappointing. Excellent location for public transport, buses, trains, trams etc. Easy to get int central London by train and easy access to and from gatwick airport Walk to shops and restaurants "
