"Nice clean rooms, great free safe parking. Nothing is a problem with the staff. Good breakfast, not many guests seem to use this service though, maybe lower the price and you will attract more guests buying instead of losing them to the nearby Toby inn breakfast. All in all I will always use this hotel , friendliness,clean and great staff."

"Great value for money hotel, ideal location and staff very helpful. We even had a lovely sea view. This is the second time we have stayed and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. It isn’t 5 star but it’s clean and more than adequate for what we needed."

"Although i'm a local booked Valentines night to avoid late night taxi queues (i needn't have bothered Newcastle was very quiet). The hotel is close enough to the city centre but in a slightly quieter area. The staff were very friendly and our hotel room 419 was great, no bath but nice shower, clean and tidy. We tried the bar, still serving around midnight, again friendly staff. The breakfast was fine and nowhere near as busy as i expected. Would use the hotel again "
