"There’s was nothing I didn’t like about this hotel. Everything was perfect and clean. The staff behind the desk were extremely kind to us and the cleaners were lovely and did a great job, thank you so much to them. We will definitely be coming back. "

Rooms are on the smallish side but good value and the bedding and towels almost sparkle they are so white. The complimentary breakfast is not the best breakfast you’re ever going to have but is fresh and plentiful. Overall a great place to stay, made amazing by its staff. "

"My partner and I came to visit Alnwick for her birthday, and after a previous stay at a Premier Inn, we decided we wanted something with more character. The Hog’s Head Inn is a really lovely hotel, and considering it broke ground in 2011, has a feeling of being built in the 1800s, with the wood and stone decor in the main bar area. "We had a fantastic stay, amazing value food.. £11 for three courses and the breakfast was great. great staff, comfy beds and a warm room.. The bathroom needed attention in certain areas. No hairdryer in the room but reception did get me one.. there was no shower gel or shampoo in the room and reception couldn’t provide any so had to use the hand soap. There wasn’t enough refreshments for four people.. only 2 tea bags, 2 milks and biscuits but after asking were happy to supply more. Would stay...
