"We stayed here for one night as a family of six. The hot springs were great and it the pools were a nice mix of sizes and styles. It had more of a Vegas feeling than true nature which I didn’t expect. And everything on site was quite expensive. I think if you’re looking for a hot spring experience with a swim up bar and a very mid buffet you’ll be happy. We did find the staff very hospitable and the Italian restaurant was pretty good. "Beautiful resort. Wish we had stayed longer. Staff everywhere were extremely friendly. We had a a 2nd floor deluxe room which faced the volcano but was partially obscured by a tree. No big deal. Still an amazing view. Food at the restaurant was very good but there wasn't much Costa Rican variety. Pool and the bar were great. My only issue was that they wouldnt exchange any US currency to Costa Rican. Also keep in mind that this resort is about a 20 minute drive from La Fortuna."

"Loved the family, being picked up at the airport which was an extra charge. Clean with hot water which they were very proud of. A free breakfast is a plus. Mostly the family were so gracious and kind, making us feel right at home."
