"The place is beautiful and we felt safe while staying. I understand that no matter where you stay in Costa Rica there will be bugs and such staying with you. We felt the resort could have put more effort in maintaining that the doors to the room closed without gaps that allow bugs to get in so easily. There was a large gap under the entrance door and also a gap between the sliding doors. At night we had to keep the lights off to not attract the critters into our room. I woke up each morning to...

"Great hotel for a great price. One of the few hotels I’ve stayed in where the pictures do not do it justice, the view from our mountain suite was amazing. The room was clean, spacious, and secure. The room doesn’t have A/C which threw us off at first but this is typical for the area as the cool mountain wind was more than enough for a comfortable stay with the windows cracked. "We thought the property was beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. The dogs and cats were super nice and loving as well. The ambience was truly wonderful. It was a bit difficult to find staff at times and we never found the pool- but we were gone during the day and the darkness sets in around 6 pm. Overall it was a very cool place to stay and everyone was very friendly. "

"Although this place is worn and in need of a bit of TLC, our private cottage was an oasis. We absolutely loved our private home with pool. The breakfast was amazing and close to town. I would highly recommend."

"Neat place to stay, pool was on the cooler side for us so we lounged more around, the grounds were nice and well maintained. We used to do the central location to go to the poaz and then to Grecia and other surrounding areas, made a very comfortable home base for us!"

"The treehouse was definitely worth the stay. Even though it had no AC, it wasn't needed. The temps in the forest were perfect even at night. The sounds of the forest were amazing to fall asleep too. Woken to the sounds of toucans more than once. I would recommend having a car if staying here. Having a vehicle allowed us the freedom to come and go as needed. Overall, this was a great place to stay!"

"The property was everything you could have hoped for in a Costa Rican jungle. The pools were great! The drinks at the pool bar were amazing. I highly recommend the Tamarindo Margharita. One of the highlights was the Night Guided Walk. Our guide on April 6th was fantastic. He was so excited and knowledgable. He was the best!"

"Casa Luna definitely set the mood for our Rain Forest excursion. Beautiful Resort Like Hotel with a lush landscape setting. It felt very secluded even though it was an only a 5 minute from the main street. The rooms are very private, spacious and clean. Our balcony had a view of the volcano. The grounds are very well maintained, we enjoyed the 6 hot tubs nestled away from the main pool. The staff was friendly and attentive. Nice dining in the restaurant .The message topped off our experience."

"Loved this property during our stay, customer service was great, hot springs pools were amazing and not at all crowded. The breakfast buffet was ok, not very much variation between each day but it accomplished the job. The beautiful pools made up for any not so pleasant experience. Will definitely visit again."
