"Doing a road trip from London to Lake District this was a perfect stop. 5-10 minutes from the highway, 10 minutes walk into the very pretty town of Lymm. Outstanding value: we got a lovely room (first shown had just a roof out our window but given another option on request with open view) Bed was a very comfortable Queen with outstanding bedding, bathroom had a soaker tub - shower (great for my 6'3" husband). "It was easy walking to town centre and parks. The race course is right next door to hotel if you want to go. This was our second visit to the hotel and the staff there are very friendly and they went the extra mile for us "

"Brilliant loved it apart from no hot water for are 2 night stay witch took till check out to be sorted out even though we informed of the problem first night. And the maintenance man lied and told manager it was all working and checked. He never checked it and it was not working. However the lovley manager gave us a free night and we paid to stay another night also and she did us a good deal on that . We will be back soon can’t wait "

"This is a historic hotel inside the city walls in Chester. It was built in 1535. The lobby pub and restaurant were unique with great atmosphere. Elderly people will have great difficulty using the steep stairs to the 3rd level rooms, but we enjoyed this hotel greatly!!"

"1st impression, the hotel was a bit dated on the outside. Loads of spaces for parking. Just remember to validate your vehicle reg on the tablet in reception.Check in was easy, staff polite and pleasant. The place was busy.Plenty of space in the bar/reception area. Room was ok. We were put in a room overlooking the road. Double glazed windows didn't close properly. You could hear traffic outside and people talking as they walked past. Not a massive issue.Room was OK, clean and tidyish. ...
