"Perfect little overnight stop whilst my fiancée and I were journeying from London to the Lakes. Our double room was very clean, well kept and absolutely silent despite the Christmas do that was taking place in the bar downstairs, which made for a peaceful stay. The buffet breakfast, which included a full English spread and plenty of pastries, yogurts and fruits, was plentiful and all very tasty. "Can't tick excellent because I've only just stayed in an excellent room upstairs. Room 401 was outside which made it a lot easier with my bags too & from the van but was a little petite in comparison and just didnt have the beautiful Tudor decor that the room upstairs had. Definitely recommend but want an upstairs room again next time 😉"
