"My partner and myself had a lovely stay. The staff are very friendly , polite and professional , with nothing being too much trouble. The venue itself is on a hill with lovely view of the surrounding fields. It has a olde worlde feel with beautiful oak beams as part of its pub features and brass adornments on the wall. The bedrooms are clean and inviting with full tea and coffee making facilities , TV and shower and we had a good night's sleep waking up refreshed in the morning. . We partook...

"Highly recommend Beaconsview B&B! Jen made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. It was my partner’s birthday and Jen left a note and a gift for him - it was really kind. Absolutely stunning views and the breakfast was wonderful. Parking was a brilliant bonus. The room was gorgeous - beautifully decorated throughout, spotless, the bath and shower were fab, and the bed was huge and really comfortable. Would definitely stay again."

"We had a delightful stay with our dog at The Tiger. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ate in the hotel- we thoroughly recommend Chicken& Leek Pie. Lovely beer/lager.Our only niggle would be the rooms are all on the top floor- a few stairs to negotiate. We would stay again."

"Quite remote. Staff gave us free left over curry which was very nice. Beverage options are vast. About a 30 minute drive from pen y fan. Only had WiFi in the main rooms though. No signal or WiFi in the room we were in. We only stayed for one night so it didn’t matter for us. cheap and cheerful. "

"The hosts were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent very tasty, beds were so comfortable didn’t want to get up and the whole property was spotlessly clean. "Closed down when we got there with no cancellation or notice. Hotels.com could only offer refund which would take up to ten days. And we're left stranded and having to find somewhere else to stay paying out double. "
