"Was a little apprehensive when I realised the family room was in the loft. My mum has mobility issues so I didn’t think she would be able to access it when Paul told me it was steep, narrow stairs. I needn’t have worried! The stairs were not that bad and mum managed them. The room was lovely with a king size bed and another room with 2 single beds. Tea/coffee facilities and biscuits were in the room. En-suite was lovely. One of the best I’ve seen in guest houses and B&B’s. Paul’s daughter checked us in and she was very welcoming and helpful telling us some local places to eat. Breakfast was fantastic! Full English breakfast and it was a good size. I couldn’t eat it all! Plenty of toast too! All cooked to order so nice and fresh. The white seeded toast was really nice. Cereal, fruit, yogurt and juice was available to help yourself. Paul was very friendly and made sure everything was ok. A bonus was out 2 dogs could stay free of charge! We will definitely be back. I am glad I have found this B&B and when we attend the dog shows at The Welsh Show Ground this is where we will be booking. See you soon Paul! "

"A great place for an overnight stay whilst exploring the elan valley. Clean and comfortable bed plenty of hot water. A lovely evening meal at a good price. Being a lovely sunny weekend the pub was busy and there was a little noise outside but nothing that stopped you sleeping "

"An absolutely stunning area to stay in, lovely and peaceful and the property was very well kept! Nice and clean and the patio area was just to die for, just watch out for the midges! We only spent two nights in the cottage but will hopefully be returning for a longer stay next time. The hosts were friendly and had lots of helpful information in the welcome book. We went to the Gigrin Farm red kite feeding centre and also went across to the Elan Valley dams. Both were easily accessible from the cottage, with the red kite centre being about a 20 min walk and the Elan Valley visitor centre about a 7 minute drive so it’s a very convenient place to stay if you’re planning on visiting either of these attractions!"

"Really nice apartment right in the middle of town. Very comfortable beds and lovely cosy lounge. The kitchen area is also very tidy with all you need to cook for your family. Would definitely stay here again. Only slight downside is the noise from the flats above and below, but this was daytime only noise. We slept very well. Overall very enjoyable stay. "
