"The stay here was amazing. I received a lovely welcome from the new owners Sian and Eifion. The room was beautiful with a view of the fields and river Wye. There was a complimentary tea and coffee tray. With a variety of different coffees, herbal tea and the tea bags in a jar. Not the mandatory two or three and one or two milks. Christine also provided suggestions for our evening meal, with her local being our choice for dinner. Breakfast was fresh and her poached eggs were awesome. Highly recommended. "

"Room was big and spacious with lots of cupboard space and a big wardrobe. Bed was comfortable, extra pillows and blankets provided. Lovely breakfast with quality ingredients and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended "

"The place was excellent as was the host Jon. The room was beautiful with en suite, very clean and full of charm. Perfectly situated to explore the town and surrounding areas. Plenty of places to eat and drink within ten minute walk. Would highly recommend if in the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay."

"Beautiful hotel, great service and the Blok restaurant was very nice. Disappointing with such limited use of spa facilities, which we couldnt use due to the timing of our evening meal, amd breakfast. Overall a lovely hotel though, would stay again but be a little more savvy with planning to maximise the stay. One thing to bare in mind is the additional costs for your stay. £25 early check in, £18 breakfast (pp), extra cost to use the outdoor heated pool and, of course, treatments at circa £90pp...
