"Very welcoming at Reception, we had a couple of problems with the room which they sorted out very quickly. Very impressed with them both. The hotel is very convenient for the Terminals at Birmingham airport even more so if you have an early flight"

"Very close to the city centre, especially New Street. I left my hotel and was on my platform within 5 minutes. If you’re simply looking for basic, functional room, this represent good value. Much better than anything else for this price. "

"We stayed one night in a double room at this hotel due to its proximity to the venue we were attending and also to New Street train station. I can't comment on the breakfast as we didn't have it, but I can say that we had the worst flat white coffee ever from the bar (lukewarm and weak!) and paid £4 each for the privilege! The room was fairly small but cosy and comfortable (we thought the pillows were a bit hard) and overall decor is a bit dated (90s). Saying that, we would probably stay here...

"We had a warm welcome and breakfast was great. We stayed in a family room - queen and double sofa bed. Whilst this was fine for our kids (8 and 11) to share, you might find it a squeeze for older children. Not a criticism just something to bear in mind! "
