"Really great hotel outside of the of the hubbub. Spa is basic but wonderful not crowded. The surrounding area is full of nature and boats. It’s quiet and it’s peaceful. Our room was a traditional room with the tatami mats. It had a kettle and little sweet treats. Overall it was great. Would stay there again even though it’s on the other side of the river. We came by bike and we could park our bikes no problem. "

We like that we get futons and sleep on the floor. Front desk staff speaks limited English, but they try their best to answer our questions. They will use a translator to help us understand if we have questions. They also loan out yukata for us to wear and we can onsen hop to other hotel onsen at no additional charge.
