"Really rustic hotel"

"Good service, no problem staying extra nights, good location in Old Town, and ok room. Only real downside was the water in the shower. Feelt like it had chemicals in it so that we started coughing and felt a burn in our throats when we were showering. This might not be the hotels fault, could be the water pipes or the water in the city… don’t know. "

"Conveniently close to the airport for a late night arrival. Plenty of street food establishments and a 7/11 nearby. Suited my needs for 1 night perfectly. Good value for money. "

"The aircon is controlled by the staff and only on 7pm-9am and on my first night it was set at 27oC so might as well not existed (it was 26 outside)! The bed was hard and the bathrooms multisex and shared with the cafe downstairs. Overall there’s better hostels for the same or less in Phuket Old Town."

"Pool closed too early. We wanted go to pool around 8pm it was closed we were told. Otherwise everything was great. Close to walking distance for places we wanted to go like food, massage etc. Nice n clean. We were checked in early then booked checked time as we got there like 11am with no problem checking in early and no additional fee. Thanks 10/10 from us. "

"Travelled from Canada solo. Age 45. Mad Monkey was fantastic. Chill upbeat vibes during the day. From around 6:30pm-11:30pm was fun party vibes. Quiet times from Midnight to Noon"ish". Easy 5 min walk to patong beach and 10 min walk to crazy Bangla road nightlife. Anything you could want or need is everywhere around you at all times. Very social atmosphere with awesome staff. Justin and Win took great care of me. Coming back next year with friends and will only stay here again. I'm gonna email...
