"I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful and well maintained this property is. It's a classic downtown hotel so it's kind of a maze to get around, but once you've mastered that, it's a fantastic stay! One of the few downtown hotels with a pool, plus the parking was convenient and the cheapest I could find for this area of the city. The restaurant was tasty (especially the raspberry cheesecake!) Service was excellent. Towels were soft and big. Bed was super comfy. I would definitely stay here...

"What a deal! We had 3 rooms, for several family members visiting our son that lives in Chicago. We got rooms with their own bathrooms including showers. The water pressure in our shower was great, in the other rooms not so much. Rooms were bare bones but spacious and clean. It was a nice night the first night so people were hanging out in the courtyard and it was a little noisy. Luckily (or unluckily!) it was cold the next 2 nights so no courtyard hangouts. Even as an older person I really liked...

"Very spacious room! Late check out was available for a fee. Conveniently located close to Shedd Aquarium, united center, and more. No bar but baskin robbins, insomnia cookie, and liquor store on same block!"
