"Clean and quiet. Basic but perfect for our needs!"

"The view was amazing from the north (?) side. Beautiful mountains to see, as well as city view. Hotel has been renovated so everything was clean and new. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen had everything for basic cooking. Only issue was a metal panel on the outside stairwell was loose and noisy flapping in the wind but otherwise it was a great place to stay!"

"Amazing location close to the famed church in Reykjavik. We walked to the nearby cafe which was terrific offering traditional Icelandic food. The staff was super friendly and the room was able to accommodate me and my 3 children. After an overnight flight - it was great to get a good nights sleep in your hotel. "

"Very first time in a hostel type hotel. I booked a room with a 'small bathroom' heads up - that means there's a tiny sink in the room, you still share a shower/bathroom down the hall. Small kitchen to use and 2 bathrooms on the main floor. We got there and used the hot tubs had wine right away after a long day. Bring your own food so we snacked, showered before other guests arrived and made it an early night. It can get a bit noisy with other guests arriving, some making dinner etc. over all we...

"This was a bucket list night and we saw the Northern Lights! Absolutely one of our favorite nights on our trip and the hot tub was easy to use and a huge bonus. The fire was easy to start and kept us warm all night. We ran out of wood though and didn't realize until morning there was more accessible in the kitchen. Whoops! There was a small bottle of sparkling Asti so we each had a glass and they had a few little macaroons which was nice. Hardly a mini bar and hor de vours as advertised lol but...
