I didn't and ended up disturbing a lovely woman and her very cute dog around 9pm because we didn't know how to check in. When we got into the cabin, we were happy with it and it was comfortable. My only recommendation is to have a shade on the bathroom window because the decorative curtain didn't necessarily give enough privacy for me. I would definitely recommend this...

"Great property a very short drive from Selfoss. We stayed a week in early November. The check in book is very thorough. I am very glad the beds were comfortable (rare these days with rental properties) and the owners were very quick to respond with all communication both prior and during our stay. "The property was absolutely perfect for my group. We had great weather and viewed the northern lights 6 of 7 nights while at the property. Which was awesome saved me from driving to other locations yes the landscape did not change but the views were still amazing. I would absolutely stay here again if I return to Iceland. Yes it is a bit of a drive to Reykajavik but the location is great for touring the south coast, golden circle, and areas around the national park."

Loved having the sauna and hot tub after chilly days seeing the sights. Jon checked in with me right away to make sure we got in ok (we did!). Highly recommend this cabin!"
