"We absolutely LOVED this place! My kids said it’s hands down the best place we’ve ever stayed. The treehouse is magical, the beds are incredibly comfortable, the staff super friendly and helpful, the kitchen perfectly appointed. I couldn’t speak higher of this perfect spot. Even walkable to town (sidewalk the whole way) although a bit far with young kids. And the local store just around the corner had everything we needed. The trail around the property we walked multiple times and all enjoyed....

"Beautiful location! I have slept in jungles on 2 other continents but Arenal Oasis feels so alive and wild! It’s loud here. Not cars, or traffic but the tree frogs, howler monkeys, chirping insects, song birds. That’s sort of the point of this place, but if you need a quiet environment bring ear plugs to sleep! Wild life was everywhere- including many poisonous species. Our kids, 5 & 8 understood not to touch anything, but I would not recommending kids any younger as the jungle surrounds...

"Our stay in Greemount was great. The property located a bit out of the city that makes the area more quiet. The room was spacious ,very clean and with comfortable beds. It had a functional fan and we absolutely didn't need AC nor teh fan as the area doesn't get too warm. The property is family owned and it is very cute and well maintained. The room we had was better than the images. There is a small sitting area inside and one outside that we enjoyed a lot using them. The kitchen is a great plus...

"Rancho de Lelo Ecolodge is a family owned small lodge, located about 20 minutes from the main area of Monte Verde. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay with this charming family. The National Park is only 10-15 minutes drive. The farm to table cuisine was awesome. Highly recommended. "

"As a female traveller, I felt completely safe here and would definitely stay again if I'm ever back in Monteverde. Great place for a solo traveller with a communal kitchen to help keep down expenses of eating out. WiFi in all the rooms. Staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful 😊 My only complaint would be the floors in my room hadn't been cleaned (but in fairness it's a 2 star hostel, not a 5 star hotel). "Short walk to Monteverde reserve. It is really peaceful and has a beautiful patio where you can watch wildlife. Can easily catch a bus to get into town, but is more isolated and peaceful compared to the busy town. Saw monkeys and toucans on the walk to the reserve. "
