"Breathtaking view and comfortable stay! Huge tree with multiple varieties of birds including Toucans! Our hosts made our time very special. They provided breakfast items for our refrigerator and gave us great tips on area attractions. Their adjacent restaurant was a short walk away with delicious shakes and a variety of good food! With the volcano and lake right there we enjoyed Water activities as well as gorgeous hikes! "

"We were there for just a one night stay. Clean and all we needed to crash after a long day! There’s a beautiful view of the lake and a nice yard as well. The owner was a little more chatty than needed but was very kind. No wearing your shoes inside which seemed a little odd as our feet were dirtier than our shoes. There is one small, delicious restaurant 400 meters away, but not walkable. LaFortuna is approximately an hour drive, must have a car if staying here. It was a very pleasant stay, but not in the location listed."

"Our stay at this home was amazing. Patrick, the host, made it so easy. He scheduled a car to pick all 15 of us up from the airport and had a delicious Costa Rican dinner ready. All the food that was made for us was delicious! He gave us suggestions for excursions and booked anything that needed reservations. The house is beautiful with so many unique details. The views of the lake are breathtaking. The house was very clean. The pool and hot tub were great to go in after a long day of traveling....
