"I made my reservation the day-of so that I could get closer to the airport. I saw ratings online and thought this was the best choice - and it WAS. I love the lighting in the room, full size closet, clean and spacious bathroom... microwave and fridge available in room, DESK AND CHAIR with easily accessible power ports. Comfy couch and ottoman as well as REALLY comfy bed. Close to fast food and TV offers HBO channels (but I watched Animal Planet). Able to work into the night and get rest."

"Pros: We liked the location and helpful staff at The Rubenstein, and David made us some great drinks at the lobby bar while giving us tips on what to do and see. Cons: The room needed blackout shades; we could almost read by the ambient street light. There was lots of street noise (to be expected; Nola is a city) so be sure to pack your earplugs. We stayed for 4 nights and would have appreciated more surfaces or drawers to unpack and settle in. The room was surprisingly spare and we lived out...

"Great French Quarter location. One block from Bourbon St but we didn’t find it too loud as long as your room is not on the street side. There are interior rooms facing the courtyards that are quieter. So much character and history to this hotel. We loved it! "

"Lady behind the desk was very friendly. The toilet did not flush nor fill. I got it going for the night since it was late. Informed the desk the next morning. Levy the tank lid of the tank to make sure people will know. "

"We had two rooms, one for us and one for my in-laws. We had a wonderful time. Very convenient to walk to restaurants and shopping. Easy to use Uber. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was hot and good. Everything was fairly clean. One odd part was that the tower part is now retirement living. But it was never an issue and the place was pretty quiet."
