"I stayed at Aaron's cottage for two nights and it was a great experience. The cottage was cozy, equipped with all the amenities you could need. It had AC, fans, hot water, a comfortable bed, a kitchenette and full bathroom. The place is easy to find and there is a nice beach within walking distance. The place is ideal for staying in the Hilo area or for day trips to Volcanoes National Park, or drive to the top of Mauna Kea (4WD required). Several great local restaurants as well as supermarkets...

"Beautiful property with new private cabins. Common area exceptional- with clean new restrooms and fully equipped kitchen/dinning area. Stream and waterfall is beautiful running below the cabins. Peaceful with the gurgling steam and chirping frogs. Sunrises on the hill is an added plus. Axel was extremely welcoming and educated us on the trees And plants he has planted. He is passionate about his property and happy to share with others. Highly recommend! "

"Modern, updated unit with nice furniture, beds and linens. Easy to find and access. Central Hilo location. Our otherwise excellent stay was disturbed by rude guests upstairs talking loudly, smoking outside our window and stomping around when we were trying to sleep. I would recommend this unit if you are looking for a nice, two bedroom place to stay in Hilo."

"Even though the property is a bit dated, the accommodations were nice, clean but a bit noisy. Loved being able to leave the screen doors open, loovered doors closed and listen to the rain all night. "

"Property is the upper half of a residential home. It is very spacious and the host very prompt and accommodating. Very close to Volcano National Park and Kilauea. "

"The hosts were fantastic and always responded timely to all questions. They asked numerous times if we needed anything. A couple minor issues with a couple lights and their maintenance person came to fix within a day.We prepare most of our meals while at a VRBO. The kitchen was very limited on baking dishes, saucepans, glasses, cooking utensils. As with most VRBO’s, the knives were not sharp.We didn’t realize the VRBO was located by on a very busy street and intersection. A lot of traffic noise...

"This tiny home was a perfect spot for our father/son excursion to the Big Island. It had a fully equipped kitchen which was great for preparing meals. Everything appeared to be brand new and it was immaculate. It is secluded and private and had a great screened in area with fire pit. Communication was perfect, and was needed to find the location. I'd stay here again for sure. It was a great value and very comfortable! "

"this place was very nice. loved the chickens that roosted in the tree and the 2 wild boars (that didn't bother anyone). the cats and ducks.... loved the little mini zoo! the kitchen and bathroom were updated and very modern. all new pans and place settings. the bedrooms were very small but we there to see the sites of hilo it didn't matter. the swimming pool didn't look to good-on the green side and they need more chairs and loungers around the pool. the property was close to hilo, stores and...
