"I love the old Hawaiian look that the Wild Ginger Hotel provides. There were no fancy pictures or decorations but what they did have, gave me a sense of old Hawaii. I enjoyed every bit of staying there and I plan on staying there again."

Better than expected.

"The unit is immaculately clean. In a perfect location for getting around the east side of the Big Island. If you just want to hangout in Hilo it’s terrific. You could walk and bike to so many places. The view was better than I expected. It’s an older building and the tub is a little tired but overall the unit is very well kept. The management company is very quick to respond to questions. "

"Our stay was centered around enjoying Merrie Monarch and all the activities surrounding it, and this property was perfect. Charming, clean and convenient, we were able to take a 10-15 minute walk across the park to the stadium. Everything we needed was accessible vis a short walk or drive "

Great location

"Six friends came to Hilo for Merrie Monarch. We could easily walk to the festival sites and avoid difficult-to-find parking. The condo was comfortable and clean with great views of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa. Our host Jenny was very communicative. We would stay there again. "

"This location was perfect for our visit to the Merrie Monarch Festival. Quick ride to the Festival grounds, walked to see the Royal Parade, great neighborhood for food and groceries. Could walk or drive to Downtown Hilo. Highly recommend this condo and its pleasant owners."

Hilo's Finest 2 bd Condo

"My husband and I were very pleased with our five night stay here - everything is as described. We walked into town and around the park behind the property. The condo itself had everything we needed and there was a laundry room down the hall. The building was safe and quiet. There are businesses on the first few floors that include hair salons and massage therapists. We would stay there again."
