"Rude reception but overall it matched the price. Our flight arrived at 9:AM, we arrived at the hotel before 11:00 tired. The guy at the front desk said we can’t get into a room till 3:00 even if the room was ready. Strictly no early entry nor late checkout. I’ve never been to a hotel that we couldn’t get into before checkin if a room was ready. "

"We stayed there at Christmas -time for 4 nights with our 2 children. The room wasn't huge but was laid out nicely so that it did not feel cramped (and it's Paris so the size was probably good). The breakfast was included and was really great. It was in the basement and had a castle like feel, but was also clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and there were no issues at all. "The location near Bastille was excellent. The room was spacious and comfortable, though I would have preferred a sofa instead of a chair, but we made do. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always willing to assist with anything. The spa was a fantastic bonus, especially after a long day of sightseeing and shopping."

"The view from my room was beautiful out the balcony. The shower was ridiculously small and inconvenient, the elevator was so small for a person over 150lbs, the staff was wonderful. I had a great time primarily because of the location and the balcony. If i was on an inner room i wouldn't have stayed longer than a night. I was lucky to have a street view and balcony! Staff was great! The walls are so thin i could talk to my neighbors which was embarrassing. "
