"As a couple, this was perfect for a short stay in Paris. Location was great, and in walking distance to the metro and many attraction. Staff were extremely polite and helpful. Rooms are on the smaller side, but most of the hotels in Paris are similar. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Fantastic stay at the Hotel du Continent. We were there for three nights. The location is tremendous with easy walking access to landmarks, museums and the metro. The staff was incredibly accommodating and generous, answering every question we had about the area.The room was clean and comfortable, with amenities provided. We would absolutely stay there again. "The room was not as pictured. The ceilings had mold and mildew stains. You can hear the water running through the walls and the room has a distinct smell. The only thing that was decent was the updated bathroom. The furniture and bed was outdated. We were offered another room which was no better since the bathroom was not updated. The elevator was tiny, can only fit one person and one luggage. For the amount that we paid, it definitely was not worth it. Do not book your stay here."

" No upon checkin was assigned room that was spacious but only had windows (scratched plastic) and smelled of sewage. So did second room shown but room on 5th was bright, airy and full windowed. Bathroom still had minor odour of sewage. But not in room it’s. very good location. Friendly staff. "

"Hotel is very old & rundown. Room was not sufficiently cleaned when I checked in. Pubic hairs from the previous guest in the bidet, tiles in bathroom not mopped, carpet in bedroom not vacuumed. Shower screen did not close. Soap dispenser in bathroom was broken so I had to purchase my own shampoo to use. The only good thing about the room was the air conditioning. Note, you need to walk up a large flight of stairs to reach the elevator. This means carrying luggage up the stairs when you check in...
