"I recently stayed at the Intercontinental Taksim, and I cannot recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff were incredibly helpful, making our stay smooth and pleasant. "The staff were great, very help full and polite. The room was okay , bed good, shower good apart from a bit of mould on grout. The location was fantastic, just minuets walk for the train station or 5 minuets from the tramway. We stayed on 5th floor and it was still quite noisy but hay this is Istanbul !! It's Mad , it's loud it's crazy, it's intense, and I love it!! "

"It was very nice stance in Villa Pera hotel, affordable and comfortable room for one in the second floor with a metal doble bed match the all decorate,very fresh and alergy less as no have any carpet, the washroom was very cool and clean I’m grateful to have been there. The only negative thing is the building in ruins just in front of the property, otherwise should be a five stars 😉"

"The GLK is a nice facility, and the staff is wonderful, from the desk agents to the cleaning staff. It is a narrow and tall building, and the stairs are really steep, so you will probably take the lift. The breakfast buffet is very good, and includes a samovar with genuine Turkish Rize tea. The rooms and interior look a bit worn, so I won't give my review a 5 ✬ rating, but 4 1/2 ✬ would be correct. Note: it is a 10 minute walk to the Sultanahmet tram station.
