"Excellent and friendly staff, always eager to help with any questions. Shuttle is great. Loved that the ski rental shop is right in the hotel. I wish the hot springs was a bit bigger and had more amenities but it was a nice way to relax after a day of skiing. The bar and restaurant is not open during the day which we didn’t realize. All in all a great hotel though."

"The resort was first class. We loved the Onsen which they had both private and public. They had no restrictions on Tattoos. The breakfast was great and we saved a lot of money on dinners since they had free wine, soups, miso, udon, etc every afternoon. "

"I visited Hakuba Sun Valley with my partner and 2 children and we LOVED it! The location is amazing, directly opposite the chair lift, and the staff were helpful, friendly and attentive. We will definitely be staying here again next season!"

"The property and staff were AMAZING! The location was perfect, in walking distance to Happo One. I loved the traditional style of the accommodations. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone who is looking to ski or snowboard during the day and a touch of traditional Japanese when it is time to rest and relax."

"My partner and I had a nice stay at Powder Temple. Affordable accomodation that is walkable to popular areas of Hakuba and also has bus stations to town and ski resorts out the front. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful with check in/out, tips and tricks about the area and just up for a chat. The accommodation is currently still in maintenance in some areas of the building but still a great place to stay to experience all the Hakuba has to offer. Thanks for a wonderful stay Powder Temple! "Friendly, warm and homely. In the middle of the action with all the ski shuttles and ski hire etc almost at the front door. Also a lovely hot spar bath after a day on the slopes. Owner friendly and helpful. "
