"My stay at Pension Meteor was amazing! The staff were so friendly and spoke fluent English. They went out of their way to help me plan activities on my trip and understand the area. The beds were comfortable and the ambience was cozy. They even have an adorable and calm dog on the property who greeted me whenever I returned to the Pension! "the man running the place is just lovely. he spoke the best english of anyone we met while in japan for two weeks and was super friendly. every morning the breakfast was a little different, he drove us to the bus station at the end of our trip, and he was always available for questions and advice. the private onsen (hot tub) was excellent after a day on the slopes and all in all it had a more bed and breakfast vibe. it’s a 10 minute walk to echoland (restaurants) and a 20 minute bus ride to happo one ski lifts"

"We loved our stay at the Hakuba Marriott! It had a great gym, the in room onsen was perfect after a day on the slopes and the staff were so friendly. It was walkable to the main drag and provides a shuttle to the ski resorts right out front. It was nice to come back and enjoy a drink at the bar after dinner. We cannot wait to stay here again!"

"Cozy, well maintained hotel 5 mins walk from Happo terminal. Very clean, with onsen which is great after a day of skiing! Guests who stayed there were all very respectful and more family oriented. Fantastic breakfast, and a wonderful team of staff that made us feel right at home. They even gave us a gift box at the end of the stay, so lovely!! Highly recommend!!"
