"5 star Top rating for the location and amenities. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the second floor. Maverick, the hotel front desk concierge, was very friendly and patient with us. He welcomed us on our first day and answered all of our questions. Maverick arranged all our tours with Andy for the night tour and Abel for the morning boat tour. Both did a fantastic job, but especially Abel, who went above and beyond on the wildlife tour. "Super cool and funny host! Great place directly at the river and a 2 minutes walk to the beach. A few bugs for the boat transfers to Tortuguerro need to be planned into budget though. A lodge is a lodge and not 5-stars hotel. All in all i can highly recommend this place! "

"HOSTEL SAID THEY DIDN'T TAKE RESERVATIONS FROM EXPEDIA??? Booked a bed in the dorm and when I arrived the hostel told me they only take reservations over whatsapp even though I had a confirmation for my two night stay booking on expedia. They then said that they had a bed I could book for 3 times the cost that I had reserved on expedia.
