"Upon viewing this property, our group of 5 immediately nicknamed it the “Mansion.” It was exactly as described, just stunning and gorgeous! Erinn and her adorable dog Foxy greeted us upon our arrival and gave us the grand tour. The grounds and pool area were beyond compare and we enjoyed many morning coffees and afternoon cocktails there. Erinn was available to us and immediately responsive for anything we needed, a premier host extraordinaire! One day while the pool was being cleaned, we were treated to a sighting of the “resident” sloth enjoying a meal in a nearby tree; I had personally asked to see one and Erinn delivered! The 4:30am wake-up calls from the howler monkeys and birdsong thruout the day made the stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, a pair of agoutis entertained us with their antics and I watched one drag a huge coconut all the way across the lawn one afternoon. All in all, our time there wasn’t long enough and I look forward to returning. Finally, a huge shout out to Tune, our ground transportation driver, especially for our trip to SJO on our departure day. We encountered an accident on the main road and had to take a detour which was an adventure in itself! We enjoyed beautiful scenery along the route to Poas Volcano National Park and saw the La Paz Waterfall which was absolutely amazing! Thank you Erinn for an awesome and welcoming stay for our first visit to Costa Rica!"

"This property is well worth a 10 rating. The setting is beautiful, situated in a lush tropical forest just footsteps from a very private beach. The house is spacious, comfortable and well-provisioned. We stayed for a week and especially enjoyed the open-air living space where we could relax surrounded by the sights, sounds and smells of nature - wildlife, surf, rain, etc. The host is very easy to reach and super accommodating. We loved everything about the Happy House and look forward to a return stay. "

"We had great time! The resort was one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed, with a beach view right outside our room. The staff was incredibly friendly and overly helpful. My friend got sick one of the days and they went above and beyond to help her feel better, constantly offering things to help and checking up on her every hour or so. Everyone was helpful and over-the-top accommodating. They would run and find us to show us any wildlife they happen to spot in the area. We had Christian serving us on the beach and he was phenomenal. Gave us so many recommendations for the area, and followed up by having the front desk send us the info via text. He also delivered some things directly to our room, which he didn't have to do. "
