"Staff are very helpful and there's housekeeping every day. I like the idea of having tea and coffee ready at 5:30 before going to an early tour. The convenience of pick-up and drop off at Casa Marbella dining area/ lounge chair for your boat ride back to La Pavona parking lot is a big plus. "

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at La Paz del Caribe and I must say, the hosts (husband and wife) were absolutely amazing. My party and I arrived late at night and from the moment we arrived, the hosts went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. "The Cabinas is close to the beach with shower at entrance so you can wash feet or body before getting to your room. The staff are kind, even if difficult to communicate at times as some don't speak English, but they do their best. The hammocks are a pleasure in the afternoon. There is a common area with tables that you can have your meals which is very useful. "My husband and I stayed 5 days at Casa Verde. We had a very relaxing time there. The town is very small and everything is in walking distance. However, if you get a lot at the bigger grocery store, you might want to ask for them to deliver it for you. The beach is very close by. Beautiful accommodations

"Great boutique hotel, walking distance to all the amenities Puerto Viejo has to offer. We had a bungalow with our own pool which was fabulous. Service was excellent, as was breakfast which was included. My only complaint...two cappuccinos cost $18 CAD...ridiculous..."
