"Overall, not a bad experience. A good deal for how affordable it was. It’s dated, but clean. There is a smoky smell, as others have mentioned, but not terrible, unless you’re particularly sensitive. I had to leave early due to a storm, so didn’t actually sleep here, but accommodations looked fine. Pretty spacious for a typical capsule style. It was definitely warm, though. "

"This backpackers has a strong community feeling thanks to Takuro, who knows how to host and connect guests very well. He even cooked dinner for us one night! "The futons were comfortable. Aircon and quiet sliding doors were helpful. Liked having a microwave oven and kettle and washing detergent. However, there was only one sink in the house. Front office staff and cleaners were polite, friendly and accommodating. Appreciated the free washing machine usage and the relatively cheap clothes dryer fee. However, there was only two dryers to three washing machines - which was a little inconvenient when having to wait for others to finish and remove their...

"I really enjoyed my stay here! the room was simple, a bed and a desk. It also had somewhere to hang a couple jackets. It was perfect for what I wanted/needed. It was walkable to subway stations and shopping. The community was quiet as well. I walked back late at night solo and never felt unsafe. I loved the social room downstairs, and that it had a washer/dryer. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. "
