"Thoroughly enjoyed the stay at this location. The facilities were great and the staff were fantastic. Majority of the places you would likely visit are either a short walk for the mountain or a trip into the city via a lovely train. "From the delicious meals to the excellent customer service, we felt that we were had boarded a luxurious ocean cruise and rather than checked into a hotel in the Alps. One can walk to hiking trails and jump on the cable cars directly from the hotel. Gerlos is a tiny tourist village filled with only hotels and restaurants, but there is a decent supermarket for grabbing drinks and snacks.
