"We spent 5 wonderful nights at Casa COLIBRÍ. The house is very nice and would highly recommend. We loved the nightly visit from host pup Lulu and her friends. Luis showed us Sloths on the property every day, saw more on Property than we did at Sloth Park. Had great ATV adventures, Sky Adventure with zipline and hanging bridges in the area. "

"Overall we really enjoyed our stay here, we felt safe at all times with the gated community with a security officer checking all visitors before entering the premises. The layout of the house was cool and our grown up kids enjoyed the pool and open area of the house. Best part is definitely the location, it is close by to the town and just a bit far enough from the town center to avoid all the noise. Stay here for a great experience in La Fortuna."

"Part of what made our stay in La Fortuna so special was having Stefano as a host. He was a great wealth of information and helped us to make plans in our three day stay. From restaurants to sites to see to recommendations and insider information, Stefano was the best. While at the property, we felt safe and the venue was clean with many available amenities. We truly appreciated the wash machine as we were 10 days into our trip!"

The location is about 2 km south of the center of La Fortuna, so a car is necessary. It is close to several of the tour outfitters that do canyoneering and rafting. "The place was so amazing, with its majestic views and amenities. The drive up to this please on it own its an adventure, be sure to get a 4x4 vehicle, And use a loca gps app (i recomend Waze). Google maps send us up a wrong hill and caused us to get stuck in the mud. Likely the property managers came to our aid and got us out of the pickle, thanks very much Hugo and family. "This property was a distance from La Fortuna and other points of interest. That was what I was looking for. In Santa Ana, constant construction noises have been disrupting my peace. This place was beautiful and remote. Some mold in the bathroom, and my bed had some weird fibers at the foot of the bed between the sheets., so I was a bit creeped out . But it is the jungle, and there were critters and crawlers everywhere. Pool and hammock chairs were great. I would come back, and bring more people...

"We had so much fun here, and it was a wonderful place to come and relax after a day of activities. Very unique cabin, with porch right on the pond. Friendly ducks, dogs, and it was great hearing all of the different bird calls. Very close to restaurants and things, but felt remite and private. Comfortable bed. Only complaint was the small bathroom without much room to put things."
