"Incredibly good private rooms for a hostel and great value compared to the other town centre alternatives. For us, it felt like a hotel as we were keeping ourselves to ourselves at the beginning of the trip. Selina noted it was our honeymoon and decorated the bed with flowers which was really appreciated the night before transferring to Tortuguero. "The pictures does this place more justice than actually being here. This place is more for people on a solo trip. It gives more college free spirit vibe than friends and family. They give you a free shuttle service to one of the hot springs in la Fortuna which is a big thing out there. When we went to check out one of the staff was popping an older man’s pimples off his back and just waved us off. So we found that very unsanitary and the water was not hot, so we had to take a cold shower. "

"Great hostel in the heart of La Fortuna, situated 40 metres from Selina Hostel and 2 minutes from the bus terminal, main plaza and supermarkets. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and the entire ambience of the place is calming and cozy. WiFi was great too. Note though that the 9 bed dorm consists of triple bunks."

"Great hostel situated in a nice neighbourhood, 5 minutes walk from the centre including the supermarkets and bus terminal (the centre is frankly not as pleasant as the suburbs). Rooms have secure key codes, and lockers are situated in the communal kitchen which is large, clean and well equipped. Everything was good. Would recommend."

"Despite being a little mix-up on room type, Adrian (the owner) did all he could to make it right and I had a very pleasant experience. Their hospitality was amazing and the room was comfortable. I had to work one afternoon and the internet worked great. The lounge/common areas were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you would need. The only thing I would recommend is that if you book through a 3rd party (like Hotels.com) to call and confirm your room type in advance. "

"We were in Grecia to celebrate our anniversary and visit friends. Villa Cipreses was an oasis in a hot and humid land. Our room was dated but clean and although they advertised air conditioning there was none. Fortunately we had our own fan with us so we were able to stay comfortable. The restaurant was great and we enjoyed the overall beauty of the blue hydrangeas and other plantings on the property. the owners of the property seem surprised when we arrived but they did provide accommodations...

"We had so much fun here, and it was a wonderful place to come and relax after a day of activities. Very unique cabin, with porch right on the pond. Friendly ducks, dogs, and it was great hearing all of the different bird calls. Very close to restaurants and things, but felt remite and private. Comfortable bed. Only complaint was the small bathroom without much room to put things."
