"The property is in need of many upgrades. The electrical outlets didn’t all work, the plumbing in that toilets needed attention for the first 3 days. The kitchen wasn’t suitable for cooking as the pots and pans were old and needed to be replaced. The toaster and blender didn’t work, although the blender was replaced promptly. The pool was great and location was good. You really will need a car to stay here. A printed guide would have been helpful telling us how to turn on patio lights etc. ...

"Property was clean and beautiful. We loved the outside space. Our hosts, Carole and Ademar were very responsive and friendly! Ademar gave us a wonderful tour of the property and cooked us a superb dinner one night! We saw lots of howler Monkeys and birds, even a Toucan….the resident sloth and her baby played shy. I would highly recommend this property if you want to stay in this area. We stayed 3 nights and I wish we stayed at least 4! There is so much to do in the area!"

"The owner was very responsive and helpful. He gave us advice on restaurants things to do in the area and how to get places. Everything he recommended was the best and spot on. It was a very authentic and comfortable house with everything you’d need. There were 3 twin beds, one queen and a couch that made to a twin so plenty of room for 6. The kitchen had a cooktop, fridge coffee maker, pots and pans dishes mugs glasses knifes everything you’d need to cook. He even left us fresh coconuts with...

"This was the perfect, serene getaway and driving distance to the excursions we did while staying in La Fortuna. Our host communicated with us before, during, and after our stay. Red Frog Cafe was our favorite for coffee everyday. "

"This little house is just outside the main part of town. You’ll want a car, but not so far as to be inconvenient. The small cafe across the street is lovely. Danny, the waiter, is a great language instructor and resource for the area. The rooftop patio and small soaking pool are heavenly! We watched every sunset over the volcano"

"This place was perfect for our family of 4. We had plenty of room to spread out with two teenage boys. The location was easy to drive to many excursions and restaurants. Seeing the Arenal Volcano from the front porch area every morning was so beautiful and serene. Ericka was very good at communicating with us every step of the way. "Hidden away off a quiet roadway, tucked behind a small hotel is this amazing property. Out the back yard is and endless stretch of rainforest. Cows and horses graze out the front yard.My wife and I spent most of each day on the front deck, accompanied by dozens of birds. She migrated between hammocks based on the position of the sun while I sat at the table.
