"This small resort along the Negril cliffs has three pools as well as over 10 ladders down to the sea and many locations to dive from the cliffs. If you don’t like diving from the cliffs Samsara guests can use the sister resort Legends at the fantastic Negril beach. Beaches are public in Jamaica so the cliffs offered a quiet option that we enjoyed. There are 3 different grades of rooms beginning with bungalows in the woods which offer lots of shaded areas and walkways to very modern rooms which face the ocean. 59 of the 70 or so rooms face the ocean. There are a lot of dining options in the area many of which are a short walk. The all inclusive option has lots of drink selection however the only beer is Red Stripe draft. The meals are well prepared particularly breakfast and dinner. Dinner offers Jamaican dishes with the choice of fish, chicken and pork or beef. The coffee is excellent! What sets this place apart from the many resorts we’ve stayed at was the staff, we can’t say enough great things about the people that work here; it doesn’t matter what their role is my wife and I were always greeted with a smile and genuine hospitality. They gave great information on local activities and places to go."

"The property was unique and beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful. There were plenty of places to lounge or sit by the many salt water pools overlooking the ocean. Lots of area to walk with pretty flowers and birds. Excellent breakfast and the dinners we ate there were good. Shuttle drivers friendly and can go to Whistling Bird on Seven Mile Beach for free. Cabin 7 with 2 bedrooms, good beds, a/c and tvs in each room, kitchen and living room was perfect for 2 friends (or could be for 2 couples). We would have liked to see some sort of tuck shop with snacks, sunscreen etc. because the property is not near shopping. "

They had top notch bartenders and we recommend the swim up pool bar with Dino and LT. We already plan on coming back and bringing friends. This is the best place to stay in Negril!"
