"My husband and I enjoyed our week here very much. The home was exceptionally clean and very, very well stocked with everything we could use.There was ample towels for the beach, towels for the bathroom, beach noodles, beach chairs and umbrella. carrying bags for the grocery store. The bathroom had more than enough toilet paper, little bottles of soap, shampoo, and conditioner. More than we could possibly use.For us, the location was perfect as it was very close to the beautiful beaches and Skinny Legs restaurant.There were plenty of books and maps for us to acclimate and get accustomed to the area as well as a perfectly functioning television with live TV and a plethora of movie and series options. There was definitely truth in advertising because everything we saw before we looked at our vacation was definitely there plus more. My husband and I very highly recommend this place. "Staying at the On a Whim house was a wonderful experience for our family. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided, and the extra details were much appreciated, like the weights, snorkeling gear, and coolers. The space is well laid out and very clean, and the view/location is hard to beat. Dwight, the property manager was also excellent. We ran into a water issue during our stay, and he was very quick to resolve it. We can not say enough great things about this spot and hope to visit again in the future!"

"We rented a wonderful villa built with really nice woodwork and stonework. The owners were very helpful and provided great directions, among other things. The house was nicely furnished with all the amenities we needed. It secluded up on a hillside overlooking Coral bay. We would recommend it highly. "

"Our family of four rented this home for a week and we appreciated the location, views, well equipped kitchen, and pool more and more every day. The house is perfectly located for access to the north shore beaches, east end explorations, and the restaurants and shops of Coral Bay. Communication with the hosts and the property manager Paul was perfect from before I booked through check out. Their neighbor Max was so friendly and helpful during our stay. The hill to the house seemed daunting the first couple times we drove it but we quickly got used to the switchbacks. The house has plenty of bath and pool/beach towels as well as beach chairs, noodles, snorkeling gear, and more. We never accessed the small casita next to the pool but if you plan to use it for additional guests, know that the occupants will need to navigate a steep driveway and a long staircase so it might not be the best for those with limited mobility/balance. Highly recommend booking a boat from Coral Bay as the dock is just moments from the house. The Calabash Market is a hidden gem for seasoned fresh fish and homemade hummus. Skinnylegs is an institution but the newer restaurants in Coral Bay did not disappoint.Thanks for a wonderful week!"

"The house is just perfect for 2- we loved the views, the lounge chairs, the pool, the breezes, the kitchen was perfect, the bedroom ac. Our only problem was no water after a power outage which eventually corrected itself. "

"We loved this house. There were thoughtful touches everywhere and a lot of amenities we appreciated. It was very homey and a good place to call home base. Some of the furniture could be updated and the hot tub is not a hot tub. It's a warm pool with soft jets. The property manager Paul was very prompt with advice and help. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Great property, easy access to Coral Bay, beautiful views. The only negative was the bed was uncomfortable, and there are a lot of stairs. I would return to this property."

"Really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views on the quieter side of the island. Property has lovely gardens, beautiful to see and very attractive to birds (one of our key interests). We saw 18 “life” species on the island, 14 of which we saw from the expansive deck. Hosts were very personable, with good recommendations on places to bird, eat and snorkel. It helped that they had snorkel equipment and beach towels for our use. Property was very clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. Very fun trip, we highly recommend."

"Great place to stay. Elvis showed us all the plants around the property before he left us to enjoy the place which was so enjoyable. The place is cuter than the pictures and the view was the best we saw on trip. It is on a mountain so prepare to be a lil cooler than the beaches. Our mistake was not getting a rental… which was difficult to find taxi small enough to navigate the roads… most taxis are large van/ small buses. So please get a rental as main road up to place is a well maintained road… just curves at top make difficult for larger taxis. Close to Moho bay which was awesome! Also be prepared that there is upstairs unit which we had and renters likely will be on the floor below. So somewhat private… unless they are on the bottom deck and you are on the top! But really a great place. Hope to visit this place in the future!! "
