All you need!
No frills rental. Exceptionally clean. Beware, the bed is very high, and if you are short, it is difficult to climb into. Maybe a step stool could be provided?! Enjoyed our stay, everything we needed was provided.

Wonderful stay at In Harmony
We had the perfect stay at In Harmony. Located a ways up Sea Grape Hill, we enjoyed afternoon shade on the porch and Caribbean breezes. The cottage was set up with everything we needed. We found the homeowner and property manager to be helpful and responsive. We are looking forward to returning next year!

We had a wonderful vacation! The home was perfect for the two of us. I loved sitting on the deck and watching the sunrise. The view is amazing, very peaceful. The only sound in the morning is roosters crowing in the distance. No traffic. We enjoyed the pool and privacy of the location. Sebastian the cat is sweet and we enjoyed his visits. Paul was really helpful and gave us some great tips. We hiked several trails and went to several beaches. Cinnamon Bay was our favorite. This vacation was one of our favorites and we would love to stay here again. Thanks!

We celebrated our 50th weeding anniversary and could not of picked a better location for us. We like the quieter side of the island. Paul the manger was so helpful and gave us some good information. The house was well equipped with everything we needed and perfect for the two of us. Thank you so much and look forward to our return visit.

The location was fantastic and had everything we needed to have a great vacation. Paul was super helpful, and communicated with us often during our stay. He also gave us some pointers about where to go and where to buy groceries and other items that saved us a lot of time and frustration. The place was wonderful. We can't say enough good things about this beautiful little villa, and we hope to return again in the future!

Relaxing & Quiet Retreat
Property has wonderful views of the nearby bays and surrounding mountainsides. Nice, quiet neighborhood—only sounds at night were donkeys and roosters in the distance! The pool was nice & big enough to relax in. Bedroom was cool & comfortable. Switchbacks up to the property are a little tight. We recommend this property and would stay here again for a future visit.

Paradise!
This villa was amazing! We loved the quiet location overlooking Coral Bay. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony and taking dips in the private pool. Greg and Paul were both very helpful and answered any questions we had. Kitchen was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. AC in the bedroom was nice and strong. They provided beach chairs and a cooler, as well as beach towels. I appreciated the dishwasher and washer/dryer on site ( although we didn’t end up doing any laundry). Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Relaxing stay with breathtaking views
Stayed 7days, the house had everything we needed, after a day at the beach or other activities we loved to come back to drinks and a dip in the plunge pool, the trade winds at night kept the house very comfortable. Sunrises are amazing and worth getting up for at 6am. Caretaker Paul and his cat Sebastian were always available .

Remote beauty
This small house has a stunning view in a very private setting. While we had no Wi-Fi due to provider difficulties, the property manager, Paul, was conscientious and prompt with repairs for problems. The house is appointed with appropriate appliances, furniture, supplies, etc. but could use some updating. The view is stunning but comes with a caveat. Drive carefully as the climb up the mountain is steep with hairpin turns! But so worth the drive.

Wonderful - Hope to Come Back
We enjoyed our stay so much that we soon realized we should have made it for longer. The house is perfectly situated for gorgeous views, with afternoon shade, beautiful sunrises, and that delightful & ever-present breeze. It's also close to our favorite restaurants (Skinny Legs & Rhumblines), just down the hill. The house is well-equipped with everything we needed, including snorkeling gear which we used a couple of times. Greg was great about communicating with us upon arrival to answer questions & make sure we had what we needed, and check-in was simply a matter of walking in the door. We'll be back some day, I hope!

Perfect for Us 2 Empty Nesters!
My husband and I have enjoyed several vacations to STJ over the years, but this was our first as newly minted empty nesters with both our kids now in college. In Harmony Retreat was perfect for us! We loved the location on Seagrape Hill, very convenient to Coral Bay center and our favorite beaches (Hansen and Little Lameshur). The neighborhood was safe & quiet and the views from our deck & pool were excellent. Loved having the dipping/whirlpool to come back to at the end of each day as the sun set. Also enjoyed the frequent visits from the neighborhood cat, Sebastian - a real sweetheart! Communication with the owner and property manager was easy and made our travel, check-in & stay easy to navigate. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks, Paul & Greg!

In Harmony Retreat
In Harmony Retreat was the perfect place for my husband and I to celebrate our 20 year anniversary. The views were incredible and serene from the villa and the property had everything we needed for the beach! The breezes were fabulous! We can’t say enough wonderful things about the property and St. John. A few notes-the gate was extremely difficult to open and close. We started parking outside the gate so we didn’t have to open it all the way each time. Otherwise, it was a perfect vacation!

Great location, incredible views!
Enjoyed our stay at In Harmony Retreat. Has all the basics and essentials needed. A/C works great in the bedroom, which is all I care about, not needed in main areas, not there during the day anyway, plus when we were, there was a good breeze that kept it cool enough. Plus the dipping pool was great for cooling off. The view is the best thing about the rental, absolutely amazing. Location is good as well, close to a restaurant and two stores for groceries and booze. Also the best beaches are pretty close by. But it’s far enough away from Cruz bay that it’s pretty quiet and laid back. Paul the caretaker is a great help with anything you need or questions you might have. Sebastian the cat was cool too! Lol. So overall everything was great, really have nothing negative to say about our stay. Will be back next year.

Little piece of heaven
Our stay at this little piece of heaven was absolutely amazing. The perfect size and view for the celebration of our 25th anniversary! The view really was spectacular!! We enjoyed our breakfast and coffee every morning on the front porch just taking it all in. St. John is such a beautiful and relaxed island and Coral Bay was nice and quiet. We did end up going into Cruz Bay quite a few days of our week stay for groceries etc. but the drive is always beautiful. If you want the grocery store with the best and most options go to The Market place in Cruz Bay. We ate at Skinny legs twice and windmill bar once. Both were very cool places with a great vibe but Windmill’s view is unbeatable. Doing a day trip to The Baths is a must. It was literally one of the most beautiful waters and beach I’ve ever seen. We also very much recommend taking the salty lime boat out to Lime Out taco bar! So much fun and super delicious!! We enjoyed a couple lazy days pool side, which was just the right size, at the house. The only beaches on St. John that we visited were Trunk Bay and Maho Bay. Both were too wavy to see any turtles or fish but the beaches themselves were amazing and not busy. Parking can be hard but we were there early enough to get good spaces (9am). Back to the house…having air conditioning in the bedroom (which we only ran at night) was great and the bed was comfy. The rest of the place had plenty of windows/doors to keep a good breeze coming through the house during the day.

Things to know
St John is a large island and it is important for people to understand that they MUST have a vehicle rented when booking this house and any other houses that are remote. The taxi's are not apt to go there or they want a considerable amount of money to do so. I had to beg a driver and give him 100.00 to take me there. The location, like many villa's on the island are located on hills with a tremendously steep and drastic access that are not easily transversed by foot and you are isolated. The house water is not consumable and being left there by a taxi and hoping to acquire another one is difficult. There will be no food and no water. Further, you need to bring your garbage out daily because there are no garbage cans and the refuse locations are dumpsters on roadside. It is about 1.5 miles from the house. The utilities in the house are not great. The oven was not not working (Waiting for a part), the TV in the bedroom was not a smart TV and had only CD's to watch for movies and the main TV was a Seiki. It is no longer made and it does not really work well either. The internet is not much better than dial up so the technology is not there. This house is a great retreat. The hot tub is very manual and requires a lot to maintain because the heater is very slow and is controlled by a timer, not by temperature so we did not enjoy it as much as we expected. The contents of the house were very dated. The porch love seat was destroyed and the cushions on the chaise lounges were bad. It is my opinion that the owner should replace the contents. The bedroom is about 10x10 and does not have anything but a bed and a few nightstands with an older queen bed. The entire house is only about 450 sq/ft which is not much bigger than 20'x22'. It is good for a couple. The views are beautiful. The place is remote. It has its challenges but relaxation is the key! There are a few small conservative local restaurants with a great island feel that you would enjoy. The people are very friendly and I never felt in danger or unliked. I truly love this island. We did not even lock the door. The owner was nice and attentive. Although he was not on the island, he had a manager Paul next door who was very nice and actually saved us since we did not have a car. He Gave us some water and the rest is all good.

Amazing views and location
The location was easy to locate with the directions given. Our host was very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed the pool, while grilling and admiring the coastline. It was conveniently located near restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores. Couldn’t have hoped for a better location for our honeymoon.

We had a great time. We loved the sunrise view from the front porch while enjoying our morning coffee. The house had all the essentials you would need in the kitchen and then some. The house manager, Paul, is super nice and very responsive. He was also very respective of our privacy, giving us a heads up when anyone was heading to the house for any reason. The house is secluded enough to be peaceful but still close to a few restaurants and grocery stores and a lovely little coffee shop.
