Salty Kisses & Goodnight Wishes is a one bedroom (with AC), fully equipped, home on the peaceful side of St. John, in lovely Coral Bay.
Coral Bay’s bars, restaurants and small shops are just a few minutes down the road and the North Shore beaches are short 10-minute drive away. And if you are seeking a bit more excitement Cruz Bay is not far and we can even arrange taxi service if you would like to plan a carefree night on the “town”.
While you can always enjoy a gentle breeze and very few bugs the house also features ceiling fans and AC.
The bedroom has a luxurious queen size bed, DISH television and DVD player, and offers beautiful views of the lush green mountains from the slider doors that lead to the expansive deck.
The living room is inviting and offers a carefully curated library of books that tell you the story of St. John (fiction and non fiction) as well as a collection of games, birding books and binoculars to enjoy the daily feathered visitors. DISH television and DVD player and Bluetooth speakers allow you to play your own soundtrack for your stay in paradise.
The full kitchen has everything you could want including; microwave; dishwasher; coffee maker, toaster, blender; full sets of dishes, glasses, pots and pans, knives etc. unleash your inner chef if you are so inclined. Or enjoy the delicious selection of restaurants situated in Coral Bay.
The deck offers a lovely view of Coral Bay harbor and has a dining area as well as comfy outdoor sofa. In fact that is where we spend most of our time when we are there!
Private driveway and quiet neighborhood make this a perfect place to relax and let Love City recharge your soul.

Close to restaurants and town but still tucked away
We really enjoyed our stay here. We really liked that there was a less than 5 minute drive to so many restaurants and the town but was still private and quiet.

Perfect home for 2. Very well equipped kitchen - I cooked more than I had planned to on vacation. Great location, clean and easy communication with owner. Hope to stay again.

Just what I was looking for
Great place (exactly like the online photos) with great amenities- beach chairs, cooler, etc. I took advantage of renting the jeep which was a great way to get around the island. As a solo traveler, it was much appreciated to be met at the ferry after a day of traveling and then drive back to the villa. Communication was great as well.

Beautiful Home with an Amazing View
We loved staying at Salty Kisses and Goodnight Wishes. The house is exactly as shown in the listing and even better in person. The host is easy to communicate with and the house has maps, books, and information about the restaurants and services on the island. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed. The bed, linens, and towels are incredibly comfortable. This was our first visit to the island and our friends who visit each year are in awe of this home.and its amenities.

Our favorite VRBO stay on St. John
Clean, easy to get to, quiet, and just right for 2 people. Owner lives downstairs but you'd never know that anyone is there...but she is there if you need anything, even a rental Jeep. We have stayed in 10 properties on St. John over a 25-year period, and this is our favorite. Hope to get back again soon.

Everything was perfect. The view was beautiful, I loved watching the sun come over the bay in the morning and seeing all the hillside lights at night. The home has everything you could need and I loved the decor. It was our first time visiting the Island and Amanda was very kind and helpful with all any questions we had. We would love to come back someday.

Very Convenient to Coral Bay
This is a lovely rental, with a fantastic covered porch that has an excellent view of Coral Bay. Amanda is a wonderful host and was very responsive to any questions that we had.

Quiet days in Coral Bay
First time here and a good choice to stay away from the hustle of the Cruz area. Easy drive up to the North Shore beaches and close to amenities. The property was exactly what we were looking for and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Looking forward to our return trip to St John.

Amanda’s Coral. Bay spot is perfect. It’s clean, well taken care of and in a beautiful spot. You can get to many beaches with just a short drive.

We LOVED IT!!! The location was perfect for us! 10 -15 minute ride to most all our favorite beaches and minutes from our favorite restaurants and shops. Living in among the Coral Bay residents has become our favorite spot! The house itself was perfect, clean and well appointed, it had all we needed and Amanda was GREAT!

Great vacation hideaway!
Owen and Amanda are excellent hosts who have created a beautiful, clean, and inviting retreat for couples to enjoy. What a gem! Everything you need to experience Coral Bay! Listening to the tree frogs at night while looking at the stunning Coral Bay was out of this world! Please be aware that you must know how to handle a jeep to get up to property!

Wonderful trip
My mom and I loved staying here. It provided everything we needed and more. The bed was so comfy and so was the indoor and outdoor couch! The breeze that goes through the property is so nice whether you are inside or out. The house was so easy to get to and a great location for the places we wanted to visit on this trip! It’s right there in Coral Bay and very easy to get to the North Shore beaches. I highly recommend this property.

Enjoy a great view of Coral Bay
The house is perched on a steep hill overlooking Coral Bay and the fun neighborhood (Skinny Legs restaurant). It’s just the right size for 2. Nice covered and uncovered deck. Well-equipped kitchen. Nice features such as a shower with stone walls. We rented the manager’s Jeep which was convenient. Amanda was great to work with and very accessible.

Wonderfum gem of a property right in Coral Bay with great views. Comfortable, clean, quiet and private. We enjoyed our stay very much. Amanda and Owen did an amazing job with conmunication and were extremely kind and accomodating to our 2 service animals. Thank you for the oustanding hospitality!

Lovely little villa
This was our first time in Saint John, and we were confident this place would be great — but it truly exceeded our expectations. Check-in was easy, the views were stellar (lush, green, iguanas in the treetops!), and the house was clean, cozy, and conveniently stocked with everything from beach floaties to a cooler to birding books and binoculars. Amanda was great. She let us know she was there if we needed anything, but also gave us plenty of space. It was a super special trip overall, and staying here was integral to the experience. We hope to be back again!

Great little gem
We stayed here for 4 days. The location was very close to Coral Bay and a 20-25 minute drive to Cruz Bay. The house was neat and clean with a fantastic patio area for coffee in the morning and drinks and dinner at night. The grill was a nice feature and the kitchen was well equipped. We were quite comfortable and wouldn’t hesitate to stay with them again! Thanks for our home away from home.

Tropical charm!
Amanda and Owen’s place is cozy and charming. Equipped with everything you need and filled with island charm. If you want to be away from the tourist crowds and enjoy the beautiful Coral Bay side of the island, this is the place. Easy connection to both North Shore and East End beaches. You will want a Jeep for the steep roads and driveway but it is perfectly manageable. We had a great stay.

Awesome views!
The property was just as advertised. Very clean and comfortable and the bed was very comfortable. This is the quiet side of the island and you do need a vehicle to get pretty much anywhere, a taxi is hard to get. The jeep we rented from Amanda and Owen was great, the beaches were awesome! When we needed anything or had a question Amanda was quick to respond. Thanks for hosting us, it was such a great experience!
