"Tam Coc Lily Homestay was a great location for visiting Ninh Binh. The owner “Lily” rents out scooters that you can use to go to Pho Co Hoa Lu (city centre) . It was a short scooter ride to the boat rides to visit the caves “World Heritage site”. It was a short walk from the homestay to the boat ride “town” in Tam Coc Bich Dong for rice parties fields. "The gentleman who checked us in spoke limited English but was absolutely lovely. Always smiling and we communicated via Google Translate. Accom was more than enough with a fancy Japanese toilet and new Smart TV. The neighbours were a bit noisy, about a 10 min walk to Bui Vien Walking St and 20 mins to Ben Thanh. Otherwise a cheap Grab will get you to both. "

"The place has amazing views over the river. The room as clean and tidy. Breakfast had a small pre-order selection, but it was tasty and felt like local produce. The only downside was that the room felt cold and damp without any heating avaliable, but they do provide an extra thick blanket over the bed. "
