"We did enjoy are stay. The setting is private & peaceful. It would have been perfect except for a few things. There were no reviews when we booked as it was a new listing. There were some important truths missing from the listing at the time. Hopefully it has since been updated so others will know what they are in for & can make a more informed choice. Things to know: there is no electricity. The lights in the pictures are from solar panels; there is a very cool outdoor shower but it is cold...

"My coworker and I were in town fir debris clean up from hurricane Helene. We could not find any accommodations anywhere. I messaged the host and asked if it was possible to get us in the following day if there was a cancelation? To my surprise I recieved a message saying we were in luck. This gentleman was a blessing in all ways.We recommend this place to any responsible adults looking for a quite little retreat clise to town."

"The TV was not working downstairs would power on but would not give any options for channels or anything. A blow dryer would be nice to have there but we did not find one in any of the bathrooms. But those are minor things overall it was great for our family that stayed and came to visit. "
