"The house has been totally redone inside and it is very nice! It has 2 bedrooms and one bath. The only reason I say it was perfect for 2 b/c 4 might be a little tight. Very east to get to Hickory and the neighborhood was quiet. We very much enjoyed our stay there,"

"Where to begin ~ We really enjoyed our time spent in this lovely cottage. The hosts were a pleasure to communicate with and we enjoyed meeting the caretaker. She is just lovely. The cottage was so sparkling clean. We had plenty of room to spread out, both indoors and outside. "Everything was terrific for our stay! We spent a few nights here while my Lenoir-Rhyne student son recovered from a surgery. It was the perfect place for our needs; comfortable, very quiet and very close to the University, hospitals and all amenities. The neighborhood is lovely, and you’ll spot lots of friendly walkers, runners and dog-walkers. I 100% recommend this home! "

"We fell in love with this lake house. It was the perfect place for our family to enjoy Lake James and the surrounding areas. The accommodations were amazing and the amenities were well thought out. We rented a pontoon boat for the week which added to our enjoyment of the lake. We would highly recommend this home."

"Had a relaxing time at the Lake Front Cottege. It was so nice to wake up to see the lake every day & go kayaking when you wanted. Quiet neighbors & safe. Enjoyed patio fire at night. Clean kitchen. It has a you need in the kitchen. Has pillows& bed linens. We brought our own towels. Had dish soap, etc. Nice stay. Host was respectful & helpful"

"Very cute setting. Family neighborhood. Close to Hidden Hill Venue. Was hoping to be in the heart of downtown so could walk to restaurants and shops but driving was close to food and shops. All amenities were included at house. It even had bottled water and coffee supplies. Other than the WiFi being spotty, it was an adorable house. Very relaxing."
